Booking online is now available!

The Rock Cottage B & B now has online booking, thanks to Hugh Lewis of the Alley-McKay House B & B. The entire back portion of the home can be booked for your family retreat, couples weekend, or girlfriend's getaway. We have two bedrooms with queen beds, and separate bathrooms for each. What makes us different, is the huge den that is available for guests complete with 3 sofas, 2 desks, & flatscreen TV. The den is decorated with a casual rustic decor. If both rooms are booked, this large area will be your private headquarters. So come join us, and relax with plenty of room. The large area will accommodate 4 adults.

Mollie's Room has an adjoining bath with claw foot tub:

My daughter, MK, provided the art work on the claw foot tub.

The other bedroom is named "Bessie's Room" after the lady that was the original owner of the 1934  rock house.

Preparation for our first guests!

I have spent the last few weeks in a panic preparing for our first guests. I wanted everything to be perfect, so many new furniture pieces and decorative items have been added to give a more finished look. I hit the antique shops in Jefferson, shopped my own home, and tried to pull everything together. Here is the updated version of some of the rooms:

This is one of our guest rooms: Mollie's Room with private adjoining bath.

This is the second bedroom: Bessie's Room. It was named after the original owner.

The adjoining bath has a new shower.

Coffee bar, microwave, & refrigerator for guests:

The common area for guest to relax or watch TV.

Now, on to the kitchen:

I bought a new hall tree for the living room.
